BCA to auction Bangers 4 BEN

Car insurance customers may be able to pick up a bargain after British Car Auctions (BCA) announced a special event to be held at BCA Blackbushe today (November 18th) at 1pm.
The surviving cars from this year's Bangers 4 BEN, which was arranged by Car Dealer Magazine to raise funds and awareness for the automotive charity, will be sold today at auction.
Charles Davis, BEN's director of fundraising and communications, said the Bangers 4 BEN event was "great fun" and he is predicting great things for the auction.
"In addition to the money raised by the bangers at auction, most teams have also gone out of their way to raise sponsorship so the total will be well above what we were expecting," he added.
Bangers 4 BEN is a charity challenge that saw teams from a number of organisations travel the length of the country in cars that were bought for £250 or less.
