New LoJack and Maserati partnership provides motorists with peace of mind
26th May 2010
LoJack Corporation has signed a deal with Maserati that could reduce the number of claims motorists have to make on their cheap car insurance for stolen vehicles.
The tracking and recovery systems provider announced today (May 26th) that all Maserati dealerships in Italy, France, Spain and the UK are to offer the Maserati LJ Security System to their customers.
This incorporates the LoJack Stolen Vehicle Recovery System, which helps stolen vehicles to be recovered using LoJack's Radio Frequency technology.
In case of a theft, cheap car insurance customers who have the Maserati LJ Security System will be provided with a courtesy car.
"In the event that a car is not recovered within 48 hours, we are the only company to refund the customer with £900," explained Stephen Doran, managing director of Tracker Network, the UK licensee for LoJack.
Last year, one of Tracker's devices helped actor Danny Dyer's Porsche Cayenne to be recovered, making sure he avoided having to claim for the pricey vehicle on his car insurance.
