Vauxhall Swappage gives £3,000 off new car

As the government's scrappage scheme comes to an end, car insurance customers have been offered an alternative from Vauxhall on three of the manufacturer's most popular ranges.
Vauxhall Swappage pledges at least £3,000 off all new Astras, Astra Sport Hatches and most new Corsa models in exchange for any roadworthy car they own which is at least seven years old.
Rory Harvey, retail sales director at Vauxhall, said the deal is designed to give customers a boost following the end of the scrappage scheme.
"Vauxhall Swappage not only increases the amount of discount off selected Vauxhalls from £2,000 to at least £3,000, but it also widens the net to cars over seven years old, compared with ten years plus in the old, government-backed scheme," he added.
The manufacturer recently teamed up with some of the UK's biggest music, design and style talents for an ice skating evening at Marylebone, London to celebrate the launch of the new Vauxhall Astra.
