Man throws Ferrari in for free

Thu, 19 Jan 2006

A man who is keen to sell his house in a hurry is throwing in his Ferrari as part of the deal.

Mike Odysseas, a company director, has said that whoever pays the £367,000 asking price for his three-storey homes in Durham will get the keys to his red 3,496cc FI coupe.

Although the successful bidder will have to organise their own car insurance policy, the five year old car is worth around £60,000.

"The car is creating interest. I will miss it horribly," said Mr Odysseas.

"Someone is capitalising on my misery. It is something most guys would love to drive. I have had my fun and I'm happy. For someone else it will be a fantastic five years," he added.

Mr Odysseas has set up a website in order to sell his home, rather than registering with an estate agent, after his girlfriend put pressure on him to get rid of the property as quickly as possible.
