Women's Car Insurance

Driving 'bad for relationships'

Fri, 16 Jun 2006

It is clear that car insurance companies recognise that women make better drivers on average, with women's car insurance being cheaper than that of their male counterparts, reflecting their greater safety on the road.

However, it appears that men and women are failing to agree on what makes good driving, with a recent survey finding that one in five couples end their relationships after arguing about driving.

It seems that the battle of the sexes is no more apparent than behind the wheel of a car, meaning that how a prospective life partner behaves on the road is increasingly more important to the long-term health of the relationship.

And with increased congestion on Britain's roads, the problem can only get worse, with driving becoming an increasingly stressful way to spend time.

This means that spending time with a potential suitor one a long romantic road trip might be the best way to judge how compatible you are.
